Postdoctoral Researcher – AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced postdoctoral researcher to help train and evaluate AI chat‑bot models. You will measure progress, assess logical consistency, and solve problems that improve each model’s quality while working remotely from Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide AI chat‑bots with writing and editing tasks and review their outputs.
• Evaluate model outputs for correctness, performance, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Track and report on the progress of AI models throughout development cycles.
• Collaborate on problem‑solving to enhance model accuracy and reliability.

Required profile

• Fluency in English at native or bilingual level.
• Detail‑oriented with an excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice.
• Current, in‑progress, or completed PhD in physics or a related discipline (e.g., astrophysics, biophysics, electrical, nuclear, or chemical engineering, mathematics).
• Only applicants residing in Australia will be considered.
• Independent contractor willing to work on a freelance basis.
