Post Graduate Fellow - Endocrinology (Clinical Trials)

About the role

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Post Graduate Fellow in Endocrinology to join the team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The fellowship focuses on clinical trials in the Diabetes Centre and is open to applications until 9 November 2026; the position is available from December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, ethical and high-quality clinical care to participants enrolled in clinical research studies
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and governance requirements
• Undertake secondary clinical and research activities within the Department of Endocrinology

Required profile

• Current registered medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)
• Recognised qualifications in Endocrinology or equivalent specialist recognition under the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award
• Extensive experience in the care of patients with endocrine conditions such as diabetes, and extensive research experience in these areas
• Applicants expected to receive their FRACP within two months of the start date may also be considered
