Plasma Sampling Technician

About the role

Eurofins PSS, a global provider of scientific insourcing services, is hiring a Plasma Sampling Technician for its Professional Scientific Services (PSS) team. The role performs plasma sampling, sample management, traceability and related support activities at a pharmaceutical manufacturing client site, reporting to the Plasma Sampling Team Leader. It is open only to candidates eligible to work in Australia/New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process, identify, store and dispatch plasma samples while keeping full sample traceability and data integrity.
• Complete all activities safely, accurately and in line with approved procedures, GMP requirements, quality standards and customer expectations.
• Support investigations, continuous improvement, deviation management, audit readiness and departmental documentation.
• Work with Eurofins colleagues and client stakeholders to meet operational requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment (manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, blood products, laboratory, logistics, warehousing or similar) is preferred; prior plasma industry experience is not essential.
• Ability to follow procedures, complete documentation and escalate issues, risks or deviations.
• Competent in manual handling, able to lift and move goods weighing about 10-15 kg.
• Must pass a pre-employment medical assessment including serology testing, and undergo ongoing assessment during employment.

Required skills

• Understanding of GMP, GDP and quality systems preferred.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and electronic systems.
• Attention to detail, strong organisation and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
