Plasma Sampling Technician

About the role

Eurofins PSS is looking for a Plasma Sampling Technician in Broadmeadows. The role performs plasma sampling, sample management, traceability and related support at a pharmaceutical manufacturing client site, reporting to the Plasma Sampling Team Leader. It keeps all work safe, accurate and compliant with approved procedures, GMP requirements and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process, identify, store and dispatch plasma samples while keeping full traceability and data integrity.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the Plasma Sampling function, contributing to throughput, turnaround times, quality and compliance.
• Work with Eurofins colleagues and client stakeholders to meet operational requirements.
• Support investigations, continuous improvement, deviation management, audit readiness and departmental documentation.
• Follow procedures, escalate issues, risks or deviations, and work independently and in a team.

Required profile

• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment (manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, blood products, laboratory, logistics, warehousing or quality-controlled settings) is preferred; prior plasma industry experience is not essential.
• Ability to handle goods of about 10-15 kg and basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Eligible to work in Australia/New Zealand with current work rights or an appropriate visa.
• Must complete and pass a pre-employment medical assessment including serology testing, and undergo ongoing assessment during employment.

Required skills

• Understanding of GMP, GDP and quality systems preferred.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
