About the role
Nyrstar Port Pirie is looking for a Plant Operator. You will work in one of five plant areas, operating equipment such as forklifts and cranes and manually processing and producing critical metals. The work is shift-based on a 12-hour roster: two day shifts and two night shifts, then four days off.
Required profile
- Some heavy industry, construction or similar labourer experience
- Physically fit, able to pass a pre-employment medical and the physical demands of the role
- Safety-focused and a team player
- Unrestricted valid right to work in Australia
Required skills
- Licences and tickets such as Forklift, Bridge & Gantry, Confined Space or Working at Heights are highly advantageous
