Plant & Equipment Supervisor

About the role

ACCIONA's Plant & Equipment team provides, maintains and manages the machinery and equipment for its major infrastructure and civil projects. As Supervisor, Plant & Equipment, you will take charge of the plant, vehicles and equipment that keep ACCIONA sites working, reporting to the Head of Operations. You will decide how the fleet is allocated, serviced and replaced, and own fleet availability, maintenance compliance and operational readiness across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the allocation, mobilisation, utilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment across operational sites
• Monitor fleet performance, availability and utilisation to maximise productivity and minimise downtime
• Coordinate equipment inspections, servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance programs
• Maintain accurate plant and equipment records within asset management systems
• Oversee equipment procurement, hire arrangements, disposals and asset replacement planning
• Ensure safety, environmental and legislative requirements are met across the fleet

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience supervising plant, fleet or equipment operations in construction, civil, infrastructure, mining, transport or industrial environments
• Current driver's licence is essential
• Trade qualification in Mechanical, Diesel Fitting, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Engineering or a related field is desirable
• Heavy vehicle, mobile plant or high-risk work licences are desirable
