Planning & Procurement Manager

About the role

Eucalyptus is looking for a Planning & Procurement Manager to build and lead its Planning and Procurement functions in Australia as the business scales and integrates the Hims & Hers portfolio. This is a hands-on, building role: running negotiations, designing frameworks and leading the S&OP cycle, while also mentoring a direct report (the Supply & Product Planner). The role works closely with the Head of Supply Chain & Fulfilment, the Supply Chain Team, Commercial, Clinical, Legal & Compliance and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build the Planning & Procurement operating model, including how procurement decisions are governed, how the S&OP cycle links to supplier management and category strategy, and how inventory and demand signals feed procurement.
• Build and personally run the monthly S&OP cycle, bringing together commercial demand, inventory positions, supplier performance and supply constraints.
• Partner with Commercial to define category sourcing and negotiation strategy, including volume commitments, MOQs, payment terms and multi-year agreements.
• Run quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers, track scorecards on quality, service, cost and lead-time reliability, and lead performance improvement plans.
• Design the supply-risk and contracting framework with Legal, covering single-source dependencies, lead-time volatility, import and biosecurity exposure, and ensure products meet Australian labelling and ARTG requirements.
• Own the procurement and supply side of new product launches, including TGA/ARTG registration readiness, supplier onboarding and launch stock planning.
• Manage, coach and develop the Supply & Product Planner, and raise the quality standard across the wider team.

Required profile

• 6+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain planning, ideally in FMCG, pharma, healthcare or another regulated consumer-goods environment, with a track record of owning a category or function end-to-end.
• Hands-on operator who enjoys detail as well as strategy, and who still wants to be close to the work.
• Demonstrated experience building procurement or planning frameworks and operating models from scratch.
• Experience managing or coaching others; a proven commercial negotiator with category strategies and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborative partner who can align multiple stakeholders without direct authority over them.

Required skills

• Comfortable designing and running an S&OP process; hands-on supply and demand planning is highly desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of Australian import, labelling and regulatory requirements; familiarity with TGA/ARTG registration is desirable.
• Analytical approach to cost, margin and inventory data; ERP and procurement systems experience is advantageous.
