Planner / Senior Planner

About the role

Built, a privately owned construction company operating across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, is hiring a Planner or Senior Planner in Melbourne. The role sets projects up for success and keeps them on track from bid through to delivery, working closely with project teams and key stakeholders to give clear, practical planning insight.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project programmes across tender, baseline and construction phases
• Work with project and site teams to shape sequencing, methodologies and delivery strategies
• Identify risks and delays proactively so teams stay ahead of challenges
• Support time-related commercial outcomes, including delay analysis and extensions of time
• Mentor others and contribute to best practice planning

Required profile

• 6+ years' experience in planning, project engineering or construction roles, ideally on complex or large-scale building construction projects
• Proven ability to lead planning outcomes across tender and delivery phases
• Strong understanding of contractual time requirements, delay analysis and EOT processes
• Confident communicator able to engage stakeholders at all levels

Required skills

• Planning tools such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or MS Project
• Prior experience with 4D planning systems is considered favourably
