Physiotherapist - Private Practice, Port Macquarie

About the role

A three-clinic group in and around Port Macquarie, led by Jose De Jesus, is looking for a physiotherapist to join its team of exercise physiologists. The clinic serves clients across Medicare, DVA, NDIS, Home Care Packages, workers' compensation, CTP and private pay, and offers a salary of $85k to $100k plus superannuation. The clinic finishes early, leaving evenings free.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat a broad musculoskeletal caseload across all ages
• Build individualised, evidence-based treatment plans and follow them through to results
• Manage clients across multiple funding streams with accurate billing
• Work with the exercise physiologist team on shared clients, from rehab to long-term conditioning
• Build relationships with local GPs, surgeons and referrers and grow your own caseload
• Keep clinical documentation in line with AHPRA standards and the group's governance framework

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Physiotherapy and current general registration with AHPRA
• Experience in Australian private practice, confident with Medicare, DVA and NDIS
• Professional indemnity insurance, or willingness to obtain it
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle for travel between clinics
• National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, current or willing to obtain
• NSW Working with Children Check, current or willing to obtain

Required skills

• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Self-directed approach to managing your own caseload and building referrals
• Nice to have: workers' compensation or CTP experience, interest in chronic disease or aged care, and experience in a mixed physio and EP team
