Physician Proctor (M.D.) – Clinical Training & Support

About the role

Join the Medical Affairs team to lead hands‑on and hybrid training for physicians and clinical teams on transcatheter heart valve (THV) and transcatheter mitral/tricuspid (TMTT) devices. Your expertise will directly influence patient outcomes and advance structural heart therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive onsite and remote training, procedural instruction, and simulation workshops for THV and TMTT devices.
• Provide case evaluation, advanced imaging interpretation, pre‑procedural planning, intra‑procedural guidance, complication management, and post‑procedural review.
• Develop and disseminate best‑practice techniques in collaboration with key opinion leaders.
• Serve as expert advisor for complex, high‑risk cases such as redo TAVR, valve‑in‑valve, and mitral/tricuspid interventions.
• Lead educational events, case conferences, and advisory panels while engaging professional societies.
• Offer medical guidance on complaints, off‑label or compassionate‑use cases, and complex imaging.

Required profile

• Board‑certified, practicing physician with current THV implantation experience (transfemoral or transapical).
• Working knowledge of TMTT devices and techniques.
• Proven ability to teach, mentor, and proctor physicians using onsite and digital methods.
• Strong background in clinical education, simulation‑based workshops, and physician program moderation.
• Recognized clinical leader with contributions to conferences, advisory boards, or publications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
