Pharmacist Team Leader – Grade 3 (Temporary Full‑Time)

About the role

The Grade 3 Pharmacist Team Leader will oversee daily pharmacy operations at Northern Beaches Hospital, reporting to the Director or Deputy Director of Pharmacy. This temporary full‑time position (until 31 May 2027) offers the chance to lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure safe, person‑centred, cost‑effective medication services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities across multiple pharmacy areas.
• Supervise staff, allocate resources and monitor performance.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and patient‑centred care.
• Collaborate with senior pharmacy leadership and external service providers.
• Lead and share quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (or eligible for immediate registration) without conditions.
• Extensive hospital pharmacy experience.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with novice and experienced health professionals.

Required skills

• Proficient use of health information systems.
• Computer literacy for pharmacy operations.
