Pharmacist – Primary Healthcare at Amberley Health Centre

About the role

Join a supportive multidisciplinary team at Amberley Health Centre, providing primary healthcare to Australian Defence Force personnel. As a pharmacist you will ensure safe, effective medication management for a health‑focused patient cohort.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe and accurate dispensing services in line with clinical standards.
• Manage medication inventory and support efficient pharmacy operations.
• Promote safe and effective use of medications for patients and clinicians.
• Provide technical advice and support to health practitioners.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, Defence policies, and quality standards.

Required profile

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.
• Minimum 2 years post‑internship experience in hospital, community or defence pharmacy.
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009).
• Commitment to ongoing CPD and professional standards.
• Australian citizenship to obtain required security clearance.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of medication safety, dispensing and inventory management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
