About the role

Join Ramsay Pharmacy New Farm as the Pharmacist in Charge, leading the pharmacy operations of a 114‑bed mental health clinic. You will ensure the highest standards of patient care, medication safety, and regulatory compliance while supporting a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy services and medication management for mental health patients.
• Lead pharmacy operations, clinical services, clinical trials, and therapeutic drug monitoring.
• Maintain compliance with TGA, AHPRA, and NSQHS hospital accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with clinic management, psychiatrists, and nursing staff to optimise patient outcomes.
• Manage inventory, budgets, and operational efficiency.
• Implement innovative pharmacy practices and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist.
• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy, preferably in a mental health setting.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Membership with AdPha is preferred.
