Personal Carer

About the role

Join BlueCare as a Personal Carer and make a meaningful difference in the lives of community‑based clients. You will travel to clients’ homes, build supportive relationships and help them maintain independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑home personal care including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Deliver care in line with each client’s individualized Care Plan.
• Support community‑based recreational and social activities.
• Assist with transportation, shopping and appointments.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification (essential).
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) (essential).
• Roadworthy and insured vehicle (Third Party Property minimum) for work use (essential).
• Experience using technology such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.
• Ability to meet probity checks required by legislation or policies.

• $36.32 per hour plus superannuation.
