Personal Care Worker - Aged Care

Calvary Aged Care is looking for a Personal Care Worker for a permanent part-time position at its Springvale location in Victoria. Key responsibilities

• Support residents to live the life they choose, helping them exercise choice and independence
• Assist residents in one-on-one activities that support their well-being, including hobbies and interests aligned to the care plan
• Contribute to residents' physical, emotional and lifestyle needs through assessment and observation
• Deliver personal care tasks such as daily hygiene (showering, shaving, dressing), mouth and eye care and continence management
• Assist residents who need help with mobility, as per the care plan

Required profile

• Certificate Level III (Individual Support)
• NDIS clearance check, or willingness to obtain one
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care or health care

Required skills

• Effective written and verbal interpersonal communication
• Ability to prioritise workloads
• Working knowledge of WH&S and infection control
