Personal Care Attendant - Nutrition

About the role

Estia Health Yarra Valley, an aged care home in Yarra Junction with mountain views and strong links to the local community, is looking for experienced carers to join its team as Personal Care Attendant - Nutrition (PCA - Nutrition) on a permanent part-time and casual basis. The home is moving to a more traditional restaurant-style model of nutrition and hydration, with front-of-house and back-of-house team members, and you will help residents with their meals and drinks following the home's personalised meal service guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Help residents with their meals and drinks, following Estia Health's personalised meal service guidelines.
• Support residents' daily life so they feel heard, comfortable and well-fed.
• Assist residents who require additional support and care.
• Help residents enjoy meaningful and engaging activities.
• Be a supportive friend to residents and respect each person's privacy and dignity.

Required profile

• A Cert III or IV in Aged Care.
• Experience as a carer.
• Team player and great communicator with a desire to make a difference in people's lives.
