Perioperative Scrub/Scout Nurse (Night Duty)

About the role

St Vincent's Health Australia is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a permanent part-time night duty position in its Perioperative team, working 60 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday. The role suits an RN with prior scrub/scout experience in a range of specialties who can work independently. The workplace is close to the MCG and Melbourne Park, and within walking distance of Melbourne City.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing and current registration with AHPRA
• At least 2 years of experience working as scrub/scout
• Currently working in a peri-operative setting with scrub/scout experience
• Ability to work in a self-directed way with effective time management and workload prioritisation
• Commitment to compassionate care and a positive work ethic

Criminal record and child protection checks are part of the selection process, and staff must comply with the organisation's immunisation policy, including flu vaccination and generally being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
