Perioperative Associate Nurse Director – Scrub Scout & CSSD

About the role

Cabrini Malvern is looking for an Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead Scrub/Scout and the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) within its perioperative services. The role is full-time and ongoing, and works closely with the Nurse Director of Perioperative Services. It is a chance to help shape the future of a large perioperative service during major investment, redevelopment and clinical expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide visible, confident and contemporary leadership across Scrub/Scout and CSSD
• Guide service growth and strengthen workforce capability
• Support operational performance and champion safe, high-quality patient care
• Contribute to workforce planning, service redesign and continuous improvement
• Drive quality, safety, efficiency and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Work with the perioperative leadership team and engage regularly with senior and executive leadership

Required profile

• Contemporary nursing leader with deep perioperative experience
• Sound operational judgement and the ability to lead people through growth and change
• Visible, collaborative and steady under pressure
• Genuine commitment to developing people, strengthening systems and delivering excellent patient care
