People Risk and Compliance Coordinator

About the role

A national legal services firm is looking for a People Risk and Compliance Coordinator to be the backbone of its people risk and compliance operations. The role owns the coordination and administration of key compliance activities: maintaining registers and databases, managing audit programs, tracking actions to closure and keeping everything current, accurate and audit-ready.

Key responsibilities

• Manage people compliance records, registers and trackers across the firm, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
• Schedule and coordinate internal audit programs, evidence gathering and remediation tracking
• Monitor action logs and compliance trackers, follow up with owners and escalate risks
• Prepare compliance reports and dashboards giving visibility across the organisation
• Support major projects such as psychosocial risk implementation, professional certification uplift and privacy process improvements
• Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, tracking completions and maintaining records
• Develop standard operating procedures and process documentation
• Build relationships across departments (IT, Finance, Operations, People Advisory) to embed compliance controls in practice

• Collaborative approach, comfortable liaising nationally across functions
• Practical, continuous improvement mindset

Required skills

• Confidence working with systems such as HRIS and LMS
