Senior Campus Recruiter - Technology

About the role

IMC, a research-driven trading firm, is looking for a tech-focused Campus Recruiter to define its technology graduate and intern recruitment strategy across Australia and New Zealand. You will build fluency in software engineering, machine learning and AI, partner with technology leadership on workforce planning and help sustain the firm's competitive edge in a fast-moving trading industry. Dedicated events and marketing support means the role is open to both campus hires and experienced candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Campus Events Lead and Marketing team to build the technology campus recruitment strategy across Australia and New Zealand, alongside the existing approach for Traders and Quant Researchers.
• Build trusted relationships with technology leadership, acting as their partner on graduate hiring and workforce planning.
• Own end-to-end recruitment for technology graduate and intern positions, from initial engagement through assessment to offer, with a swift process and excellent candidate experience.
• Develop relationships with engineering and computer science faculties and student societies at target universities to build the firm's reputation.
• Use data to sharpen targeting, assessment and conversion, and test new channels to reach students not yet reached.
• Collaborate with recruitment teams in Amsterdam and Chicago to share ideas and best practice.

Required profile

• 5+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced industry such as technology, financial services or start-ups.
• A track record of building something from scratch, such as entering a new market, rebuilding an interview process, implementing a system or creating a strategy.
• Experience recruiting for technology roles, with interest in software engineering, machine learning and AI.
• Experience with forward-thinking organisations that hold a high bar for talent.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and influence wider teams; strong self-motivation and flexibility to reprioritise.
• Willingness to travel and resilience during an intense peak season.
