People Operations Coordinator

About the role

Join Samsung Electronics Australia as a People Operations Coordinator and help shape the employee experience across the organisation. You will be the go‑to partner for onboarding, off‑boarding, flexible work arrangements and HR administration, supporting both leaders and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding, off‑boarding, probation, internal moves and flexible‑working requests.
• Maintain accurate employee records in Workday, Enboarder, Knox Portal and internal trackers.
• Draft employment letters, variations, and confirmation of employment documents.
• Serve as first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, the Fair Work Act and employment legislation.
• Coordinate monthly induction sessions, handling scheduling and stakeholder communication.
• Assist the People Operations Lead in updating policies and ensuring compliance with legislative changes.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a People Operations, HR Administration or Coordinator role within a global organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Workday (or similar HRIS).
• Familiarity with Employment Hero and/or Cornerstone LMS.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data tracking, reporting and basic analysis.
