People Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

APM Group is looking for a People Business Intelligence Analyst to join its People Analytics team. The role suits an experienced BI professional who turns data into actionable insights for workforce planning and business decisions. You will design and maintain reporting solutions, build scalable data models and deliver people analytics across a global organisation, working with People & Culture, Digital and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain P&C Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, DAX measures and Power Query transformations
• Identify data and intelligence gaps and partner with Digital to build fit-for-purpose data models
• Build and maintain ETL processes and the people data warehouse architecture
• Develop automated tools that improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Support the interpretation of data and reporting needs for the People & Culture team to uncover people trends
• Maintain data quality, governance, security and reporting standards
• Support user acceptance testing, report validation and ongoing enhancements

Required profile

• 5+ years' experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting or data development
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Focus on data quality, validation, governance and continuous improvement
• Desirable: People Analytics, workforce planning, HR reporting or workforce insights experience

Required skills

• Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, semantic models and dashboard development
• ETL processes, SQL and data warehousing
• Advanced Power Query and Excel
• Data visualisation and presentation of insights
• Desirable: Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Automate, SharePoint and Microsoft Lists
