People Assistant

About the role

We Are Charlotte (WRC) is seeking a People Assistant to support its People Advisory team. Reporting to a People Partner, you will provide hands‑on administrative and data‑management support across a portfolio of client engagements, helping to deliver strategic HR solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the People Partner with client work, including the development of people strategies and plans.
• Manage administrative tasks, data entry, and HR system updates for client teams.
• Attend client meetings, take notes, maintain work‑in‑progress documents, and track action items.
• Become proficient in HR platforms such as HRIS, performance‑management, and employee‑engagement tools.
• Provide compliance‑focused HR administration across the client portfolio.
• Contribute to internal WRC projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Comfortable working with data and making informed decisions.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on HR trends.
• Adaptable and able to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS) and related platforms.
