Payroll Investigation Officer

About the role

The Australian National University is recruiting a Payroll Investigation Officer in Canberra (ACT) to provide day-to-day administrative support for the Payroll Assurance and Compliance Taskforce (PACT). The officer helps drive and deliver the project's objectives and outcomes, working under general direction.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse payroll remediation data
• Ensure compliance with conditions of service, superannuation rules, policies and procedures, and relevant industrial legislation
• Provide administrative support to the PACT team

Required profile

• Right to live and work in Australia; mandatory pre-employment declarations and background checks apply
• Fixed-term 12-month position; flexible arrangements, job share or part-time hours will be considered
• ANU offers mentoring and support to help candidates adapt existing administrative and/or management skills to higher education

What we offer

• Salary package of $89,760 - $97,918 per annum plus 17% superannuation
