Pathology Collector

About the role

We are seeking a casual Pathology Collector to join our dedicated team at our Footscray centre. The role is ideal for self‑motivated individuals who pay great attention to detail, communicate clearly and deliver outstanding customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Collect blood and other clinical samples from patients.
• Handle, store and process pathology specimens in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Complete paperwork and clerical tasks to ensure accurate and timely documentation.

Required profile

• Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or equivalent industry experience.
• Excellent customer service skills both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Strong time‑management and ability to work independently.
• Sound clinical knowledge and effective communication with doctors, patients and team members.
• Willingness to work weekday and weekend shifts across collection centres.
• Current driver’s licence and legal right to work in Australia.
