Part‑time Early Childhood Educator & Language Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a kind, patient and supportive educator to join our Perth‑based early learning centre on a part‑time basis (15 hours per week, 3 hours each weekday). The role combines early childhood care for children under four with the delivery of a foreign language (Italian, French or Spanish) curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver innovative, child‑initiated curriculum both indoors and outdoors, incorporating sustainability and nature play.
• Teach basic Italian, French or Spanish to preschool‑aged children.
• Document children’s learning and development to a high standard, making progress visible.
• Collaborate with the school’s Pedagogista and support daily classroom activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in an early childhood setting, preferably with children under 4 years.
• Fluency in Italian, French or Spanish and ability to teach the language.
• Completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Positive, adaptable mindset and openness to change.
