About the role

Kirinari Healthy Ageing is seeking part‑time Domestic Assistants to provide in‑home support for clients in Ballarat, Victoria. The role helps seniors maintain independence by delivering a range of household and personal care services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic domestic duties such as cleaning, tidying and laundry.
• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing and dressing.
• Support shopping, attend client appointments and provide respite care.
• Prepare simple meals and encourage social engagement.
• Travel between client homes within a local area, with paid travel time and mileage claim.

Required profile

• Willingness to carry out domestic duties and provide personal care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Clear National Police Check (or able to obtain).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (or willingness to obtain).
• Smartphone for scheduling and communication.
