About the role

Are Media is seeking a talented part‑time Designer to join The Australian Women's Weekly editorial team. You will translate stories into compelling visual experiences across both print and digital platforms, helping to maintain the brand’s iconic look while introducing fresh creative ideas.

Key responsibilities

• Design engaging editorial layouts, graphics and visual assets for magazine, web, social and other digital channels.
• Convert editorial concepts into visual storytelling that enhances reader experience.
• Collaborate closely with editors, writers, photographers and production teams to deliver high‑quality content.
• Prepare artwork for publication, ensuring accuracy and compliance with production specifications.
• Develop templates, graphics and assets that support consistent brand presentation.
• Manage design projects, balance multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks within the editorial workflow.
