Parts Warehouse Assistant

About the role

Fork Force Australia, one of Australia's largest independent materials handling providers, offers sales, hire, service and parts for new and used forklifts, stackers, reach trucks, pallet trucks, order pickers and telehandlers. It is seeking a Parts Warehouse Assistant to help the Spare Parts Department warehouse receive, pick and dispatch orders, including internal interpreting for the workshop and other general warehouse duties.

Key responsibilities

• Inventory control, including regular stock takes on the main warehouse and Field Service vans
• Packing and shipping of orders
• Replenishing Field Service Technician van stock
• Interpreting for internal departments
• Providing internal customers with excellent customer service and building positive relationships with all customers
• Other general warehousing duties

Required profile

• Previous dispatch, stock or parts interpreting experience is an advantage
• Ability to learn on the job and work autonomously
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Excellent oral and written communication
• Proficiency with time management
• Ability to work to timeframes
