Parts Interpreter & Storeperson

About the role
Genus Group is expanding its fleet management operation in Kenwick, Perth. The Parts Interpreter & Storeperson will ensure that the workshop and project sites have the right parts, consumables and equipment on time, supporting a diverse fleet of over 300 vehicles and plant.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret and source parts for light and heavy vehicles, plant, trailers, cranes, EWPs, telehandlers and excavators.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, raise purchase orders and process invoices.
- Receive, inspect, record and store incoming goods; manage returns, warranty claims and supplier credits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stocktakes and audits.
- Coordinate freight and logistics for urgent or remote site requirements.
- Support workshop staff by providing timely access to parts and keeping stores organised, compliant and safe.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, Storeperson or Inventory Controller.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of heavy‑vehicle and plant equipment.
- Experience with procurement, purchasing and inventory management processes.
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence.
Required skills
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and purchase order processing.
- Ability to read technical drawings and part numbers.
- Computer literacy for receipting and stock control.
