Parts Interpreter

About the role

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd, a manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, is looking for a Parts Interpreter for its Tom Price branch. Reporting to the Pilbara Manager, the role serves both external and internal customers for parts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service to external and internal customers for parts
• Interpret customers' requests and identify and supply the parts needed
• Sourcing parts as required
• Initiate invoices for parts
• Update and maintain computer records
• Resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies

Required profile

• Previous experience in a parts environment
• A developed mechanical understanding; knowledge of earthmoving/construction equipment is an advantage
• Forklift licence

Required skills

• High level of computer literacy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
