Part-time Veterinary Nurse in Coburg

About the role

Greencross Vets Coburg is seeking an experienced Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive team on a part‑time basis, working approximately three shifts per week with potential for additional hours.

Key responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, procedures, and surgeries.
• Prepare the surgical theatre, monitor anaesthesia and support patient recovery.
• Provide medical nursing, hospital patient care and dental nursing assistance.
• Collect pathology samples, perform diagnostic testing and administer medications.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, infection control and client communication.
• Mentor less‑experienced nurses and support daily clinic operations.

Required profile

• Hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• Strong clinical confidence across medical and surgical cases.
• Natural leadership qualities and a proactive, organised attitude.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Reliability and ability to thrive in a busy clinic environment.
