Part-Time Registered Nurse - Aged Care Home

About the role

Uniting Communities is seeking dedicated part-time Registered Nurses to join its team at an aged care home in Felixstow, South Australia. The role offers part-time day and night shifts, and experienced nurses can provide leadership, mentor new graduates and build their leadership skills. You will report to the Clinical Nurse Leads and support residents' right to choice, independence and dignity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, meeting their individual needs with dignity and respect
• Work with care staff, allied health professionals and families to develop and implement personalised care plans
• Monitor and assess residents' health status and respond promptly to changes or concerns
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that raise the quality of care and services

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff at all levels
• Experience in a residential aged care setting is a must
