Part-Time Production Coordinator & QA Technician

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Production Coordinator & QA Technician to oversee the end‑to‑end manufacturing process of our maternity and nursing apparel. You will ensure production schedules are met, maintain quality standards, and act as the primary liaison between our design team and both local and offshore suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production timelines, purchase orders, and shipment schedules for all styles.
• Coordinate sample approvals, pre‑production sign‑offs and bulk production releases.
• Conduct detailed quality inspections on development, pre‑production and bulk samples, measuring garments against specifications.
• Document fit assessments, approve or reject samples, and drive corrective actions.
• Investigate product issues, root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate production records, supplier communications and QA documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance against quality and delivery KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in apparel production, garment technology, quality assurance or product development.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, grading and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Proven organisational and project‑management skills.
• Comfortable communicating directly with offshore factories and suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with production management systems.
