Part-Time Pharmacist in Charge

About the role

A forward-dispensing pharmacy in the Inner West of Sydney is looking for a dedicated part-time Pharmacist in Charge to join a supportive and friendly team. The role focuses on delivering excellent healthcare and comprehensive advice to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense and check prescriptions
• Provide patient counseling on prescription and OTC products
• Administer vaccinations and dispense OTP
• Check Webster packs and manage stock ordering
• Supervise staff and run the dispensary smoothly

Required profile

• Solid background as a Pharmacist in Charge (ideally 3+ years), with hands-on experience managing a store as a sole pharmacist; high-performing candidates with less experience will also be considered
• Active NSW Vaccinator with CPR and First Aid certification, and practical experience delivering all vaccines permitted under NSW regulations
• Confident in expanded scope services such as UTI consultations, skin conditions, pill replacement and end-to-end DAA management
• Knowledgeable about evidence-based nutritional support and able to give clear, thorough counseling
• Experience supervising staff and interns, including weekend coverage
• Detail-oriented, with high dispensing accuracy and strong commitment to pharmacy standards and regulations

What we offer

• Part-time roster of 4 days per week: Tuesday 4pm-9pm, Thursday 2pm-9pm, Friday 5pm-9pm, Saturday 8am-8pm; full 3-day availability preferred but 2 days including Saturday will be considered
• Negotiable remuneration based on experience, clinical capability and performance during a trial
