Part-Time Oral Health Therapist

About the role

Bupa Dental West Lakes is looking for an experienced, passionate and customer-focused Oral Health Therapist to join its practice on a part-time basis, working Mondays at the Arndale clinic and on Thursdays and Fridays. The therapist takes on key dental procedures, enabling the practice to see more patients more regularly, in a busy but well-managed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients in developing and maintaining good oral health
• Interpret treatment plans and objectives accurately and keep detailed clinical records
• Gather data relevant to the dentist's direction and assess patients' presenting condition
• Follow infection control protocols and practices
• Provide routine dental treatment for people of all ages, including examinations and diagnosis
• Treat oral health conditions, taking radiographs and providing fluoride therapy
• Promote comprehensive dentistry and active maintenance

Required profile

• Current DCSI working with children clearance is required before starting the role
• Experience as an Oral Health Therapist
