Part-Time Financial Controller

About the role

Spectre Metals is seeking a senior‑level Financial Controller to work part‑time (equivalent of 2‑3 days per week) in a flexible remote/hybrid setting. You will oversee the outsourced finance and accounting function and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day‑to‑day accounting, tax functions and the finance team.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, quarterly cash‑flow reports and other financial statements.
• Manage audit processes, tax obligations and external compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Experience at Finance Manager or Financial Controller level, preferably in the resources sector.
• Familiarity with ASX compliance and financial reporting environments.
• CA or CPA qualification with a strong foundation in technical accounting and governance.
• Proven ability to manage external service providers and streamline outsourced workflows.
• Self‑starter capable of working autonomously in a flexible remote/hybrid environment.
