Part-Time Dentist - General & Advanced Dental Treatments

About the role

Maven Dental Newcastle, a family-focused practice serving the local community for more than 20 years, is looking for an experienced Dentist to join its team on a part-time basis. The practice is backed by Abano Healthcare, which provides HR, marketing, finance, IT and facilities support for 200+ locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of dental treatments including preventative care, periodontics, restorative and endodontic procedures, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics and orthodontics/aligners
• Perform oral surgery, extractions and emergency dental services
• Work within a 5-chair practice with a team of 3 dentists, 1 practice manager and multiple dental assistants

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years' experience in general dentistry
• AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance, or eligibility to obtain them
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-first, ethical approach to dentistry
