Oral Health Therapist

About the role

Oral Health & Beyond Collective, which includes DentalCareXtra, KIDS, Snoring Laser Care and NovoGen, is looking for a motivated and qualified Oral Health Therapist to join its team in Mackay, Queensland. The role provides evidence-based oral health care in a supportive, multidisciplinary setting, with both part-time and full-time positions available.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver oral health care to patients of all ages within the scope of practice for Oral Health Therapists.
• Carry out comprehensive oral health assessments and develop treatment and prevention plans.
• Provide preventive and therapeutic services such as scaling, root planing, fluoride applications and oral health education.
• Administer local anaesthesia and apply fissure sealants as required.
• Work with dentists and allied health professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in line with professional and legal standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Oral Health Therapist able to deliver care within their scope of practice.
• Passionate and dedicated to high-quality patient care.
