Part-Time Accounts Administrator

About the role

An established, family-owned engineering business serving the Australian mining industry is looking for an organised and reliable Accounts Administrator to join its small team in Malaga. This is a part-time casual position, Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, about 18 to 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable using Xero
• Process weekly payroll, including superannuation
• Reconcile bank and credit card transactions and prepare weekly reports
• Process invoices, orders and supplier payments
• Maintain financial records and complete data entry
• Monitor workshop supplies and manage stock orders
• Liaise with clients and suppliers
• Assist with employee onboarding and general administration

Required profile

• Previous accounts administration experience
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Reliable, proactive and adaptable

Required skills

• Knowledge of Xero
• Microsoft Office
