Parks & Gardens Labourer

About the role

Randstad is looking for energetic, hands-on Parks & Gardens Labourers in Sydney. The work suits people who enjoy the outdoors, take pride in working with their hands and want a job with fresh air.

Key responsibilities

• Craft green spaces by operating ride-on mowers, push mowers and line trimmers on community parks and sports fields.
• Nurture nature through pruning, mulching, planting and weed control.
• Keep grounds fresh by clearing waste and maintaining park areas.
• Operate and give basic care to power tools, garden machinery and outdoor equipment.
• Work closely with a small team while following Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards.

Required profile

• Enjoys physical work and is comfortable in the sun.
• Reliable, punctual and a positive team player.
• Class C driver's licence (essential).
• White Card (essential).
• Previous experience.

Required skills

• Desirable: Chem Cert, Chainsaw License, MR license, horticulture or turf management background.
