About the role

Several casual positions are available for experienced parks and gardens labourers to join the Open Space teams of a local council in the western suburbs. This is a 3-6 month assignment, Monday to Friday, 06:30am to 02:30pm, paid $39.13 per hour.

Key responsibilities

Maintain gardens, including mowing, weeding, pruning and irrigation
Assist with landscaping tasks
Operate and maintain plant and equipment
Maintain records and all associated paperwork

Required profile

Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
White Card and PPE
Ride-on mower and brush-cutting experience
General labouring experience including grass cutting, weed control and open space cleaning
Certificate in horticulture preferred but not essential; MR licence required
