Packing Operator – Thermoformer Production

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, hands‑on Packing Operator to join our production team in Camellia. This full‑time position involves operating thermoformer packaging machinery and leading a small packing crew to achieve daily production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate thermoformer packaging machines at the start of each shift.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings such as speed, temperature, vacuum and cycle time.
• Coordinate workflow across the packing line to ensure smooth product flow.
• Lead and support a team of packing staff throughout the shift.
• Perform basic troubleshooting to minimise machine downtime.
• Handle and replace film rolls (20–25 kg) safely.
• Carry out general packing duties and operate additional line equipment as required.
• Complete end‑of‑day shutdown, cleaning preparation and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience operating production or packaging machinery (thermoformer experience highly regarded).
• Ability to troubleshoot and adjust machinery in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong leadership or leading‑hand experience on a production line.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Clear communication and a proactive, hands‑on work ethic.
