Owners Corporation Litigation Lawyer

About the role

A CBD law firm is recruiting an experienced Senior Associate-level litigation lawyer to specialise in Owners Corporation matters in Melbourne. The lawyer takes ownership of a wide range of matters from commencement through to resolution, working with sophisticated clients with significant autonomy and support.

The practice handles disputes and advisory work such as building defects, debt recovery, compliance issues, licensing, leasing, subdivisions and other property-related matters. Direct client engagement, quality work and strong mentoring are offered, with an attractive salary package and a clear career path.

Required profile

• Approximately 5+ years of post-admission litigation experience, including property litigation, ideally on Owners Corporation matters
• Knowledge of the Owners Corporations Act is ideal but not essential
• Construction experience is an advantage
• Ability to deliver practical, strategic advice with strong commercial acumen
• Confidence to manage matters independently while collaborating within a team
