Owner Driver – Removalist (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Owner Driver – Removalist to join All Purpose Transport in Queensland. You will operate your own well‑maintained vehicle to carry out home and office relocations, ensuring furniture and goods are handled safely and delivered in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑start vehicle inspections and routine maintenance.
• Load, secure and unload furniture and bulky items using proper load‑restraint techniques.
• Provide courteous customer service at pick‑up and drop‑off locations.
• Complete basic paperwork or electronic job records for each run.
• Coordinate daily schedules with the operations team.

Required profile

• Valid Australian driver’s licence appropriate for your vehicle and a clean driving record.
• Own a suitable, well‑maintained removalist vehicle.
• Proven experience in furniture removals.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items.
• Australian work rights and ability to work full‑time.

Required skills

• Vehicle operation and basic safety checks.
• Load restraint and manual handling techniques.
• Use of basic mobile or in‑cab technology for documentation.
