OutSystems Developer (6‑month contract) – Melbourne & Sydney

About the role

We are seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to join our team in Melbourne and Sydney on a 6‑month contract. You will work on designing, developing, enhancing and deploying enterprise‑grade web and mobile applications using the OutSystems low‑code platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy applications on the OutSystems platform.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot defects, analyse root causes and implement fixes and performance improvements.
• Ensure solutions adhere to coding standards, security controls and enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reusable components and deployment/release notes.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA teams and client stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
• Provide knowledge transfer, mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise‑grade applications using OutSystems.
• Strong understanding of Agile development processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
