Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinator - Southern River

About the role

Junior Adventures Group is looking for an Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinator to lead its OSHClub service in Southern River. The role leads the day-to-day running of before and after school care programs for children aged 5-12, supports and mentors educators and builds a positive team culture, with ongoing guidance from a Regional Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of before and after school care programs, creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for children aged 5-12.
• Bring your own ideas and creativity into the program and support and mentor Educators.
• Build a positive team culture where everyone feels valued.
• Work closely with families and the school community to deliver high-quality care and experiences.
• Use your 5 hours of paid non-contact administration time each week for planning, team leadership and coordination.

Required profile

• Experience leading, mentoring or supporting a team in OSHC, early childhood education or another relevant setting.
• Completed qualification recognised for First Qualified Educator requirements in WA, in line with ACECQA.
• Australian working rights and willingness to obtain the required Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
• No previous OSHC Coordinator title needed; leadership experience and readiness for the next step are enough.

What we offer

• Up to $43 per hour plus super, depending on experience and qualifications.
• $1,250 retention bonus during the first year.
• Permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week, with split shifts (6:30am-9:00am and 2:00pm-6:15pm) and 5 hours of paid admin time.
