Outdoor Adventure Facilitator

About the role

PCYC Capricorn Coast, based in Yeppoon, is seeking a passionate and personable Outdoor Adventure Facilitator to lead and deliver safe and effective experiential learning and adventure-based programs for young people. The role reports to the Capricorn Coast Program Services Supervisor and may also include support functions such as program planning and logistics. Multiple positions are available.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver experiential learning and adventure-based programs for young people
• Support program planning and logistics
• Contribute to a supportive, respectful and positive atmosphere where every member feels a sense of belonging and growth

Required profile

• Industry-accredited experience across outdoor activity disciplines, such as Certificate 3/4 in Outdoor Recreation or Vertical or Swift Water Rescue accreditation
• Experience in outdoor education, able to facilitate groups of a variety of ages and backgrounds
• Current driver's licence
• First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain one)
• QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card); a National Police check is required on commencement
