Outdoor Adventure Facilitator

About the role

PCYC Bornhoffen, a Leadership Development Centre at Natural Bridge near the QLD-NSW border, is seeking passionate, personable Outdoor Adventure Facilitators for multiple positions. The centre works with schools and community organisations to run leadership programs based on adventure and experiential learning. You will report to the Bornhoffen Program Service Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver safe, effective experiential learning and adventure-based programs for young people
• Support program planning and logistics
• Facilitate groups of varied ages and backgrounds toward program goals

Required profile

• Industry-accredited experience across adventure activity disciplines, e.g. Cert IV in Outdoor Recreation
• Experience in outdoor education
• Current manual driver's licence and ability to drive in varied terrain and off-road
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain at wilderness level)
• Ability to travel, including overnight stays
• Working With Children Check (Blue Card) and a National Police Check on commencement
