Outbound SDR (Appointment Setter)

About the role

ASGI is launching a dedicated outbound division and is hiring two Outbound SDRs to build it from day one. You will find, start and book conversations with business owners who have not yet heard from the company, and hand qualified meetings to the closing team. You will work closely with senior leadership, including the Sales Director, and your feedback on lists, messaging and process will shape how the division runs.

Key responsibilities

• Cold call business owners, solopreneurs and small business founders
• Run multichannel outreach by phone, email, SMS and LinkedIn
• Follow up on leads that an AI SDR has already warmed and qualified
• Book qualified meetings into closers' calendars, with the decision maker on the call
• Keep HubSpot accurate so every lead, call and booking is tracked
• Give feedback on lead lists, scripts and sequences so the engine improves every week

Required profile

• 1-2 years in a sales role, ideally outbound, SDR, BDR or appointment setting
• Real cold calling experience and confidence on the phone
• Comfort with high activity and being measured on clear numbers every day
• Clear, professional writing for email and LinkedIn outreach
• Coachability and a habit of asking "how do we do this better?"

Required skills

• Bonus: hands-on experience with outbound tools such as Clay, Apollo, Sales Navigator, Lemlist or Instantly
• Bonus: lead sourcing skills, including building lists, finding decision makers and enriching contact data
• Bonus: CRM experience, especially HubSpot

What we offer

• $60,000 base plus superannuation, plus commission, with on-target earnings of $140,000
